Who can play pickleball at Dinks?

Everyone! Our venues welcome all ages and abilities — from first-timers and juniors to experienced players and wheelchair users. We’re committed to being inclusive and accessible.

Do I need to download the app to play?

No — you can book sessions using our app or through our website on a laptop or PC. However, using the app makes it easier to manage bookings and receive updates.

Can children under 16 play at Dinks Pickleball?

Yes. Children under 16 are welcome to play pickleball at Dinks Pickleball when registered on a parent or guardian’s membership or booking. Junior players must be supervised at all times unless they are attending a supervised coaching session or junior programme.

Booking & app questions

How do I book a court or session?

You can book using the Dinks Pickleball app or via our website on a laptop or PC. Select your venue, choose a date and time, and confirm your booking. You’ll receive a confirmation email and it will appear in your account.

Can I book without an account?

No. You’ll need to register for a free account to make bookings, view your sessions, and manage cancellations.

How do I change or cancel a booking?

Log in to your account via the app or website, go to My Bookings, select the booking you want to change or cancel, and follow the options provided. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the session and timing.

What happens if I’m late?

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may lose session time and could be treated as a no-show depending on the booking type.

Do member discounts apply to all events held at Dinks?

Membership pricing explained

Which membership is right for me?

Choosing the right membership depends on how often you play, whether you play with family, and how much flexibility you want. Here’s a simple guide to help you choose.

Non‑member (pay as you go)
Standard Membership (Ages 16+)
Student Membership (Ages 16–25 in Full‑Time Education)
Family Membership (Household)
  • Additional Adult (16+): £100 per year
  • Additional Child (under 16): £50 per year
Founders Membership (Limited Offer)

Payment options explained

We offer three ways to pay for memberships:

  1. Annual Upfront – Pay once for 12 months. Best value and required for Founders Membership.
  2. Annual Monthly Contract – Spread the cost over 12 monthly payments, with a 12‑month minimum term.
  3. Rolling Monthly – Pay month‑to‑month with the flexibility to cancel anytime, but usually at a higher total cost.

Different benefits and prices may apply depending on the payment option chosen.

Open Play sessions

Open Play sessions are organised social play events where players rotate on and off courts. They’re great for meeting new people and playing multiple games in one session. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.

Founders receive free Open Play passes in their first year. All other players can book Open Play at the standard event price.

Still not sure?

If you’re not sure which membership is right for you, speak to our team or try a session as a non‑member. We’ll be happy to help you choose the option that fits your playing habits and budget.

Who can use the Open Play passes?

Open Play passes can only be used by the Founding Member or registered family members on a Family Founders Membership. Passes cannot be transferred, sold, or gifted to others.

No. Open Play passes must be used within the month in which the customer receives them. They do not roll over to future months.

Are Open Play passes guaranteed entry?

No. Open Play passes are subject to session availability and capacity limits. If a session is fully booked, passes cannot be used for that session.
